The user interface of BSCW version 5.2 was completely revised concerning colours, layout and icons. The interaction with, and the functionality of, the system, however, remain unchanged. Some minor functions were dropped and are listed below.
Removal of some
functions
BSCW supports
improved document upload via drag & drop (see 3.3.2 Uploading and changing documents). This
renders BSCW’s upload helpers obsolete.
The box format for blogs is no longer available as the standard format is sufficient for all practical purposes.
The integration of the MoinMoin wiki software (http://moinmo.in/) is no longer offered.
Also, sending SMSs via BSCW is no longer supported.
