Starting the event monitor

To launch the event monitor

•      select  GoTo    Event Monitor  or simply click on  in the action shortcut bar.

The event monitor uses two windows that open when you start the applet: the event monitor console win­dow and the event monitor applet window. Both windows are required by the event monitor to work prop­erly, so don’t close either of them unless you want to shut down the event monitor. The console win­dow will only display some system messages and may hence be minimized to reduce the screen space occupied. Starting the event monitor may take a moment or two. During this process you may be asked to provide your user name and password for your BSCW server.
